New Alamein's importance lies in supporting connectivity between the sectors of Borg El Arab, Marsa Matrouh, and Sidi Barrani, facilitating the movement of residents and workers, and achieving population expansion and diversified economic activities on the North Coast. The city is located on the Mediterranean coast, approximately 35 km east of El Alamein Airport, over an area of 48,000 acres.
