The Dar Misr project is considered one of the residential projects prepared by the Ministry of Housing since 2014 to meet the needs of citizens in providing suitable housing of medium sizes in new areas. The reservation and sale of units was not limited to Sheikh Zayed City only, but it was one of the first cities in which the project began and met with great success. Which prompted the Ministry to complete it in other neighborhoods and cities.

Sheikh Zayed City is distinguished by its area of 8,500 acres, in addition to an additional area of 8,000 acres, which will be the new Sheikh Zayed City.
