Mokattam is a neighborhood located at the top of Mokattam Mountain in Cairo. It is divided into three plateaus: the upper, middle, and lower or smaller plateau. Among its most important modern facilities are the general center of the Muslim Brotherhood, the new hunting club, a number of banks and private companies, and the Uptown project affiliated with Emaar.
The main square is Al-Nafoura Square, and one of the most important streets is Street 9, which is the main street.
