Al-Zaytoun neighborhood is one of the neighborhoods in eastern Cairo. Al-Aziz Billah Mosque: It is one of the most famous mosques that calls for the approach of the Sunnis in Egypt and is famous for its distinguished preachers. Al-Ahmadi Al-Zawahiri Mosque on Taraat Al-Jabal Street next to (Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt), which is the largest Al-Zaytoun mosque ever, as it can accommodate about 4,000 worshipers inside it only, in addition to a house for memorizing the Holy Qur’an and a garden attached to the mosque. It is also attached to the (Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri) Charitable Clinic. Which has a good reputation among low-income people in the region.

Atef Sadat Mosque: Located on Tomanbay Street, it was named after the martyr, pilot captain Atef Anwar Sadat, the younger brother of the late President Mohamed Anwar Sadat, who was martyred in the October War of 1973.
Musab bin Omair Mosque, which is located at the separation between the Hadayek al-Zaytoun and Helmeyat al-Zaytoun areas, is famous for its scientific lessons and the large attached memorization houses. It is located next to the Helmeyat al-Zaytoun metro station.
Churches
Church of the Virgin Mary in Olive: On which the Virgin Mary appeared in a luminous scene full of splendor in April 1968, and Christians and Muslims bear witness to this. It is considered an international tourist attraction as it contains a huge cathedral that was inaugurated after the appearance of the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, after the state granted The church is the land of the garage facing the church to build the cathedral; It has historical importance, as the Holy Family passed through it and stayed there for a few months, as mentioned by the historian Eusebius of Caesarea. The Virgin of Olive Coptic Orthodox Church has special importance for all Christian denominations.
