- In the capital of Egypt, 18<\/strong> new projects were launched, representing 19%<\/strong> of the total investments. <\/li>
- The General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone & El Sewedy Industrial Development invested an amount of USD 3 Billion<\/strong> in a project, namely Sokhna 360 Industrial City.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- In 2023, 49<\/strong> developers launched around 58<\/strong> new projects, compared to 103<\/strong> developers in 2022. <\/li>
- Significantly, every initiated project in 2023 was supervised solely by the private sector, a great contrast to the 84% <\/strong>in 2022. <\/strong>This reflects the change in government strategy, allocating a greater share of the real estate market to the private sector. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

- The private sector developments also showed a domination in the market, contributing to 86%<\/strong> of the total number of ongoing projects till the end of Q4 2023.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- In 2023, the number of ongoing projects in the residential and mixed-use real estate sector reached 543<\/strong> projects worth USD 363 Million<\/strong>. They constitute approximately 49%<\/strong> of the total number of projects and 82%<\/strong> of the total investments.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
